The activator has already been added to the artemia and thoroughly mixed, add only non-iodized salt.

To prepare artemia hatch, you will need:

- brine shrimp eggs (store in a dry and cool place – I store them in the refrigerator in a tightly sealed container)

- a clean container of appropriate capacity, preferably conical (e.g., a plastic bottle, the bottle should be properly prepared beforehand – cut off the bottom and place the bottle "upside down" - with the cap facing down; ready-made artemia hatching kits can also be purchased)

- sea water, or water of appropriate salinity prepared artificially (based on non-iodized salt or salt specifically purchased for artemia hatching)

- aeration kit

- light source

- artemia hatching area

Method:

Pour sea water or pre-prepared salt water into the hatching container. To prepare salt water yourself, dissolve about 30g of non-iodized salt per 1l of fresh water. Then measure out the appropriate amount of brine shrimp eggs (about 2.5g per 1l of salt water). Place the mixture in a location with suitable conditions – meaning appropriate temperature and lighting. For example, you can place your container in a water bath. Place the aeration stone hose in the hatching container so that the stone is at the bottom of the container, ensuring the brine shrimp cysts are constantly in motion; aerate quite intensely, and the container must also be lit. It is also important that the water temperature remains constant at 28-30˚C – so there should be a heater in the container unless you have a place where such a temperature exists. The hatching process takes 24 to 48 hours depending on many factors – it is best to determine the optimal hatching time for your conditions yourself (for me, it takes 30 - 36 hours). When you want to collect the larvae, remove the aeration kit from the container and wait a moment for the water to clarify – this usually takes 5-10 minutes for the shells to float to the surface of the water. Then collect or skim the shells from the water surface, and strain the artemia larvae through a fine sieve (it is best to rinse with fresh water to remove excess salt). The larvae are fed to the aquarium with fry, where they can survive up to 8 hours.

Manufacturer's recommendations for hatching conditions:

- amount of artemia eggs per liter of salt water: 2 - 2.5 g/l

- water salinity: 25-30ppt

- pH: 7.5-8.5

- temperature: 28-30˚C

- hatching time: 24-48h

- lighting 2000lux

- intense aeration

Food packaged from a large original container and sealed in bags. The bag contains all the food, including fine particles resulting from crushing.

Store in the freezer.
